2025-2026
PRESIDENT – JACK ZIMDAHL
Provides leadership and strategic direction for the Association, ensuring ANSA’s work supports the profession and its members. Oversees key initiatives that strengthen clinical neurophysiology nationally. Leads the Executive Council and ensures ANSA operates effectively, ethically and in the best interests of members.
SECRETARY – KIRSTY SMITH
Manages official communication, correspondence and governance processes for the Association. Ensures clear, timely communication between the Executive Council and members while maintaining accurate records. Oversees meeting coordination, documentation and administrative processes that support ANSA’s governance.
REGISTRAR – PENNY CHEN
Oversees membership applications, renewals and records, ensuring a smooth and accurate membership process. Manages the membership register and supports members throughout their application and renewal journey. Ensures all membership categories are correctly assessed, recorded and maintained in alignment with ANSA’s standards.
TREASURER – JENIFER STOWELL
Manages ANSA’s finances, including budgeting, accounts and audits, ensuring transparency and compliance. Oversees financial reporting and ensures the Association’s funds are used responsibly and effectively. Maintains financial oversight of the Association and provides members with accurate, accountable financial information.
EDUCATION – MICHELLE SMIT
Leads ANSA’s education initiatives, CPD programs and competency activities. Works with training providers and members to advance education and professional development in clinical neurophysiology. Oversees CPD, competency tools and educational updates to support members’ ongoing learning. Chairs the Education Committee.
AMBASSADOR (COUNCIL APPOINTED POSITION) – LUKE SLINGSBY
Supports ANSA’s communication strategy by preparing newsletters, social media content and external communications, with all messaging endorsed by the Executive Council and coordinated with the Secretary. Strengthens engagement with members and affiliated organisations, and showcases Association initiatives and achievements across ANSA.
WEBSITE MANAGER NON-EXECUTIVE (COUNCIL APPOINTED SUPPORT POSITION) – VICKY GRANT
Maintains and updates the ANSA website, ensuring accurate and accessible information for members. Supports the Executive Council by managing website content, functionality and online membership workflows. Oversees the website’s technical updates and content management to keep information current and user-friendly.
